Scope and controller
This notice applies to KathaVerse, an ASEEM product. Aseem Creations and Imprints (OPC) Private Limited is responsible for the information it receives through the product, its website and support channels. It supplements ASEEM’s corporate privacy notice.
Information involved
- Age band and learning preferences supplied by a parent, guardian or user.
- Stories, prompts, narration preferences and saved creative work.
- Account, consent and support records when accounts are enabled.
- Limited technical and safety logs.
Why it is used
Information is used only to provide requested features, maintain accounts and progress where applicable, respond to support and feedback, protect users and services, meet legal obligations, and improve reliability. ASEEM does not sell personal information or use it for third-party behavioural advertising.
Sharing and international processing
Information may be processed by carefully selected infrastructure, email, security, analytics or payment providers only where needed to operate the service. It may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect users and the service. Providers must receive only the information necessary for their function.
Retention and choices
Account and product data is retained while needed to provide the service and ordinarily removed within 30 days after a verified deletion request. Security backups may take up to 90 additional days to expire. Transaction, tax, fraud-prevention and legal records may be retained for the period required by applicable law. Users may request access, correction, export or deletion.
Children and families
KathaVerse is designed for age-appropriate learning. Where a child’s information is processed, ASEEM minimises collection, does not use behavioural advertising, and provides parents or guardians a way to review and request deletion. Children should not submit unnecessary personal information.
